Etigwe Uwa, who is one of the major contenders of the Abia Governorship ticket in Abia state under APGA, in an interview yesterday at umuahia said he is very sure of regaining back the ticket he was robbed under unfair primary election that produced Prof. Greg Ibe as candidate of the party and him coming second.
It should be recalled that Etigwe Uwa SAN had earlier been disqualified by the party’s Screening Committee but he appealed his disqualification, won and participated in the primaries that produced him as first runner up.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria said he will not disclose details of the litigation as that will amount to contempt of the court. He urged his followers to remain calm, steadfast and massage the structure as victory is on the way.
When asked if he will still have time to campaign and win the election, he said he is sure of winning the election and becoming the next Governor of Abia State in 2023 even if the case lingers till November. That he is not desperate but doesn’t like to be cheated.
