One of the foremost contenders for the position of representing Ohafia South Constituency at the Abia State Assembly in 2023, Hon Ebin Kalu Orji, popularly known as Chief Obia Kalu, has congratulated the newly matriculated students who were admitted to pursue Academy glory at the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana. Ebonyi State, charging them to be good ambassadors of Ohafia through their activities as NAOS members.
As a personality with a love for education as the bedrock of a better future for the youths, Ebin Kalu has been an ardent supporter of the National Association of Ohafia Students Worldwide, NAOS, a national body uniting all students of Ohafia, whose students have at various instances benefitted from his philanthropic and academic friendly programmes aimed at encouraging and promoting academic excellence among serious and committed students of Ohafia Origin.
Speaking, he said: “I want to once again say a big congratulations to the newly admitted students of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana for their decision to embark on this academic pursuit which is a sure and best bet for shaping a future full of hope and opportunities for them.
“I assure you that today you have made a right choice because education is the bedrock of a tomorrow full of options. I implore you never to give up, falter or trip on the way. Though the journey will throw up challenges, only determination, perseverance and consistency will give you the crown of success for excellence and a bright future.
“I want to assure you that I will be a student-friendly Representative of Ohafia South State Constituency by upgrading my efforts to students to become a policy to encourage academic growth in the constituency because only investment in education can guarantee sustainable development, civilisation, fruitfulness and responsible society.
“I, therefore, urge you to give me your unwavering support, for there lies your assured reward for academic future”, he assured the students.
Meanwhile, Hon. Ebin Kalu, has, after picking his expression of interest and nomination form, continued his grassroots mobilisation and consultation with the hope of a resounding victory if he wins the PDP Ticket as flag bearer for the Ohafia South State Constituency in 2023.
