The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, on Monday marked six residential houses and one plaza belonging to the embattled former Intelligence Response Team leader, Abba Kyari, in Maiduguri as being under investigation. The two-storey shopping plaza, Assurance Plaza, located along the Giwa Barracks Road in Maiduguri, has about 100 stores. Police hunt for fleeing lover over machete attack on girlfriend

The Ondo State Police Command said it has begun investigation into a bloody attack on a lady identified as Funmilola Ogundare in Akure, the state capital. Ogundare was found in a pool of blood inside her apartment located in Ijapo Estate. The victim was said to have been attacked by her boyfriend with a machete.
