NUC Releases List Of 37 Illegal Universities The Acting Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Chris Maiyaki, says the commission has identified no fewer than 37 illegal universities currently operating across the Nigeria. Maiyaki noted that some arrests have been made in the past months. Maiyaki disclosed that the Department of State Services (DSS) was involved in the clampdown on illegal institutions.
