According to sources, the singer died at a Hospital in Lagos after slumping at a birthday party. An eyewitness who was at the party who confirmed the sad news said: “It is very sad. Onyeka Onwenu just performed at a birthday today, and after performing, she slumped. She was taken to a Hospital and she couldn’t make it.” As at the time of filing this report, her family is yet to release official statement about the situation.
