GROUPS IN EBEM UNANIMOUSLY PLEDGES SUPPORT TO IKENNA UKWA
Four prominent youth groups in Ebem Ohafia have unanimously resolved to mobilize support for Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The groups, namely; MGBAGA Youth Forum, Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group, Friends of Ikenna Ukwa, and Ohafia Progressive Movement reached the resolution during separate engagements with the APC candidate today, Thursday 13th August 2026.
In a separate statement,the groups cited Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa’s pedigree, accessibility, humility, and track record of service and achievements even while not holding any elective office as reasons for their support. They pledged to canvass massively across the nooks and crannies of Ebem and beyond to ensure his victory to represent Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in 2027
Responding, Hon. Ikenna Ukwa expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and rousing welcome accorded him by the groups. He said leadership is about being close to the people at all times, and not only during election periods.
He assured the groups and constituents that he would not disappoint them, but would work for the betterment of Arochukwu and Ohafia Federal Constituency through effective representation, empowerment programs, and grassroots development when elected.
