WE WILL SUPPORT IKENNA UKWA AND ENSURE HE WINS COME 2027, SAYS PHILIP NTO
The Former Abia State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Associate Prof. Philip Nto, has pledged his support for the election of Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa as member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, come 2027.
Chief Nto, who currently serves as the Director of the Agribusiness Incubation Centre (ABIC) at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike gave the assurance on Wednesday when Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the APC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency and some members of his team paid him a courtesy visit at his country home in Umuahia.
The Former Provost of the Abia State College of Education, Technical, Arochukwu, commended the APC candidate for his track record of grassroots service and capacity, and commitment to people-oriented leadership.
“You have my full support, and I will mobilize with you to ensure victory in 2027.”Nto said.
In his brief speech, Hon. Ikenna Ukwa thanked Prof. Nto for his fatherly advice, guidance, and support. He described the former commissioner as an erudite scholar and statesman whose contributions to Abia’s development remain a reference point.
“I came to seek your blessings and counsel. This journey is about service to our people. With leaders like you standing with us, we will win and Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency will witness unprecedented development.”
Chief Ikenna Ukwa was accompanied to the visit by High Chief Uche Ogboso, Hon. Chief Mba Ukaha, Hon Chief Chidiebere Uwagwu and Mr Ndukwe Scott.
