
Abia 2027: NDC Leadership Formally Presents Gubernatorial Ticket to National Leadership, Signals United Front Ahead of Election
In a significant step towards the 2027 general election, the Abia State Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Ako Atuloma, on Wednesday night led a delegation of frontline party candidates and key stakeholders to officially present the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah, and his running mate, Engr. Uzoma Alaribe, to the NDC National Leadership.
The delegation was received by the National Leader of the party, His Excellency Senator Seriake Dickson, National Chairman, Senator Moses Cleopas, and National Secretary, Barr. Morgan Ikenna.
Among the prominent members of the delegation were the party’s three Abia Senatorial candidates: Senator Nkechi Nwogu (Abia Central), Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, PhD (Abia North), and Mr. Kasarachi Michael (Abia South). Also present were Amb. Endurance O. Philips, Secretary of the NDC Abia Elders Council, Rt. Hon. Uzoma Nkem Abonta, and other senior party stakeholders.
The visit was warmly received by the NDC National Leadership, who appreciated the delegation and reaffirmed their support for the Abia State chapter as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.
