My brother Don-Norman, nobody needs to manufacture enmity where your own public exchanges already show the pattern.
At least three examples are there in the open.
- You publicly wrote against “sycophants” defending the Alex Otti-led government, accusing them of deceiving people. That already shows that the quarrel did not start today.
- In another public exchange, you used the language of “E-rats” and warned people off your page. So when you now say Otti supporters made you their enemy, people will ask: who first turned political disagreement into name-calling?
- As Abia ADC chairman, you have also publicly vowed to challenge and unseat Governor Alex Otti in 2027. That is legitimate opposition politics, but once you take that position, you should expect Otti’s supporters to respond strongly too.
So let us be fair. You can criticize Otti. Otti’s supporters can defend him. You can campaign for ADC. They can campaign for Labour. That is democracy.
But when you move from criticism to saying you wake up thinking of how to break people’s hearts and cause them severe pain, that is no longer politics. That is bitterness speaking.
Abia is bigger than Don-Norman.
Abia is bigger than Otti’s supporters.
Abia is bigger than ADC and Labour Party.
Let arguments face facts. Let opposition remain honorable. Let nobody turn fellow Abians into enemies because of politics.
