AKAEPUCHIONWA MOVEMENT, AMAEKPU CHAPTER HOLDS SOLIDARITY MARCH FOR IKENNA UKWA

The Members of the Akaepuchionwa Movement, Amaekpu Ohafia Chapter, yesterday staged a solidarity march in support of Hon. Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the All Progressives Congress, APC, flagbearer for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general election.

The procession, which toured the Amaekpu community and environs, was organized to demonstrate the group’s backing for Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa’s House of Representatives bid.

Addressing supporters at the end of the march, the Amaekpu Chapter President of the Movement founded by APC chieftain in Abia State, Chief. Dr. Sam Anya-Akaekpuchionwa said the exercise was to reaffirm the group’s unalloyed support for Ikenna Ukwa.

The Akaepuchionwa Movement said it remains committed to working assiduously to ensure Ikenna Ukwa secures victory and represents the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, come 2027.

“Our boss and benefactor, Chief Dr. Sam Anya, approved this solidarity march. We are here on his behalf as the founder to inform you that we are solidly behind you and will canvass support for you to ensure your victory in 2027,” the chapter president stated.

He added that the mobilization would be extended across other chapters in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs to strengthen the campaign.

Receiving the crowd at the country home of Chief Ikenna Ukwa in Amaekpu, Mr Richard Ukwa (Richard De” Angelo ) who spoke on behalf of Ikenna Ukwa thanked Chief Dr. Sam Anya for the gesture and for displaying the spirit of sportsmanship toward his brother.

Mr Richard Ukwa assured the movement that Ikenna Ukwa would not take the support for granted and pledged to work closely with the group and other stakeholders to reciprocate the goodwill.
