BREAKING: Governor Sim Fubara Officially Withdraws From APC Governorship Race, Says Peace Comes First
Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has officially pulled out of the APC governorship primaries.
Fubara said he made the decision after consulting with family, friends, and political allies, adding that peace and unity in Rivers State are more important than personal ambition.
He also promised to support whoever emerges as the party’s candidate.
The governor thanked his supporters and appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his encouragement and support during the process.
Fubara said his decision was not because of pressure or fear, but because he believes sacrifice is necessary for the peace and progress of Rivers State.
“Rivers State is bigger than any individual,” he said.
