IKENNA UKWA HOLDS STRATEGIC MEETING WITH APC WARD & LGA EXECUTIVES IN AROCHUKWU LGA
The founder, Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa on Monday held a strategic meeting with the Stakeholders and the newly elected Ward and LGA executives of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Arochukwu LGA, including the members of his pro-group, Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group.
The meeting which took place at the residence of the APC Chairman, Mazi Sunday Torty at Abagwu village in Arochukwu was convened to formally congratulate the executives on their emergence and to interface with them on the future of the party.
In his remarks, Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa congratulated the Ward and LGA executives on their successful emergence as leaders of the party. He described their victory as a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party members and urged them to justify that trust through dedication and unity of purpose.
He commended the executives for their loyalty to the APC and for keeping the party strong at the grassroots. He noted that the strength of the APC in Arochukwu LGA lies in the commitment of its ward and LGA structures and further solicited their support, partnership, and prayers, assuring them that his ambition is rooted in service to the people and the party.
He highlighted some of his humanitarian interventions and party support activities, including youth empowerment, educational support, medical outreach, and sustained financing of party activities across the federal constituency. He pledged to continue prioritizing the welfare of party members and to run an inclusive representation that carries every ward along if given the mandate.
Chief Ukwa also charged the executives to intensify mobilization efforts ahead of future elections and promote unity and discipline within the party structures.
In their separate responses, the LGA Chairman, Mazi Sunday Torty, and some of the Stakeholders, Chief Chibuike Jonas, Mazi Nnayerugo, Barr. Mike Ndu and Chief Cletus Nwankwo, among others expressed appreciation to Chief Ikenna Ukwa for his continuous support to the party and its members. They described him as a loyal party man, a philanthropist, and a capable young leader with the capacity to deliver quality representation.
The executives pledged their loyalty to the party and assured Chief Ukwa of their willingness to work with him in strengthening the APC in Arochukwu LGA. They encouraged him to remain focused and prayed for God’s guidance and success in his political aspiration and in addition, promised to embark on aggressive mobilization for PVC registration and APC E-registration in their respective wards.
High Chief Uche Ogboso, Engr Chief George Nnanna Kalu, Hon Mba Ukaha, Hon Chidiebere Uwagwu Kalu, Chief Lucas Eme Uche, among other Stakeholders from Ohafia accompanied Hon. Ikenna Ukwa to the meeting.
