… Reaffirms The Ohafia Monarch’s Unflinching Support To His Future Ambition
The Udumaeze of Ohafia, His Royal Paramountcy, Ezie Ohamoha Elder Awa Orji Udonsi has reaffirmed the commitment and unflinching support of the Ohafia Council of Monarchs to the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, in his future political ambitions.
The Udumaeze Ohafia, who doubles as the Chairman of Ohafia Council of Monarchs made the assertion when Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa paid him a courtesy visit with his team at his palace in Elu Ohafia on Friday 14th November 2025.
Ezie Elder Awa Udonsi who spoke emphatically stated that Ikenna Ukwa has within few years made Ohafia proud by delivering basic unprecedented amenities and infrastructures, even when he isn’t holding any elected political position. He commended him for his good gestures and undiluted love for the Ohafia people and assured him never to feel perturbed, but remain focused and determined in his quest to bring more development to Ohafia.
The Revered Monarch who used the medium to express his gratitude and that of his council of chiefs to Chief Ikenna Ukwa for the solar powered street lights he attracted in Elu, said he received with gladness, the news of the solar powered lights, just two days after his coronation as the Paramount ruler of Ohafia Udumeze.
“Ikenna Ukwa, you brought light to Elu Ohafia just two days after my coronation. We are grateful. Your name reverberates across Ohafia and beyond. You are a young man with a fresh idea, who is determined to bring change and more development in Ohafia. You have demonstrated that someone doesn’t need to hold any elected political position to impact society. You have my full support and that of the Ohafia Council of Monarchs and anytime you declare your interest to vie for any political position, we will give you our royal blessings and support. Also, as long as I am still sitting on this throne, you will never fail but will continue to succeed in all your life endeavours”, Udumaeze added.
Earlier in his speech, Chief Ikenna Ukwa said he came to familiarize himself with the Udumaeze and also to formally congratulate him once again on his ascension on the throne of our forefathers. He prayed to God to continue to protect and guide him with more wisdom and strength, and grant him long life and good health.
Ikenna Ukwa also pledges to light up the palace with solar powered lights and support the ongoing construction of a befitting palace for the Udumaeze Ohafia.
