ADC Ohafia LGA Charts New Course with Fresh Vigour, United Stakeholders, and Growing Grassroots Support.
Ohafia, Abia State – July 20, 2025. The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ohafia Local Government Area, has reaffirmed its commitment to political transformation, unity, and grassroots expansion during a well-attended executive meeting held at Rosy’s Bar, Amaekpu Ohafia.
Presided over by the LGA Chairman, Hon. Prince Okwara Agwu, the meeting brought together key leaders, ward executives, and party faithful to align on priorities and renew their collective resolve to advance the party’s presence across Ohafia and beyond.
In attendance were two prominent political leaders: Hon. Prince Emmanuel Arua Kalu Ndukwo, the ADC Ohafia North Leader, and Hon. Sunday Mba Nze, the ADC Ohafia South Leader. Both leaders addressed the gathering, calling for continued unity, grassroots engagement, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the party.
The executive meeting also reinforced support for the Abia State ADC leadership under Mr. Obinna Don Norman, whose strategic direction and political integrity have earned widespread respect and inspired a renewed sense of purpose among ADC stakeholders.
The session opened with prayers and the traditional breaking of kola, symbolizing unity and shared destiny. The LGA Chairman, Hon. Prince Okwara Agwu, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of collective leadership, discipline, and planning in repositioning the ADC as a party of substance and integrity in Ohafia LGA.
Strategic discussions during the meeting touched on coalition building, party coordination, and grassroots mobilization which are all aimed at expanding the party’s base and ensuring readiness for upcoming political cycles. The open forum saw vibrant contributions from party members, who commended the leadership’s transparency and encouraged continued emphasis on grassroots inclusion.
A key highlight of the day was the induction of new members into the ADC Ohafia LGA. This is a major milestone signaling the growing appeal of the party across wards and communities in the region.
The meeting concluded with closing remarks and prayers for sustained unity and progress as the ADC positions itself as a credible, people-centered alternative in Ohafia and across Abia State.
