MAYOR OHAFIA LGA CHIEF ELEANYA O. KALU ALONGSIDE OTHER COLLEAGUES FLAGS OFF ICT TRAINING PROGRAM IN OHAFIA.
The Mayor of Ohafia LGA, Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, alongside the Mayors of Arochukwu and Bende LGA, Hon. Dr. Okereke Eze Aru and Hon. Bassey Uwabunkeonye, respectively, launched a maiden 3-month ICT training program being a ground breaking initiative by the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, in Ohafia LGA.
This aims to empower youths with advanced technology skills to unlock their wealth creating potential whilst fostering positive social engagement.
At the event, the Ohafia mayor Chief Eleanya reminded all that this initiative yet again demonstrates the Governor’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling one of his promises to Abians being harnessing the power of technology to create jobs and secure the future of the youth.
The Honourable Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. David Kalu, represented the Governor at the flag-off ceremony.
