ABIA STATE POLICE COMMAND DECORATES 63 NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS
Today 14/01/2025, the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, presided over the decoration of newly promoted police officers, held at the Command’s Officers’ Mess Umuahia.
A total of 63 officers were decorated including 16 promoted from Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), 11 officers from Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to Superintendent of Police (SP), and 36 officers from Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
The CP charged the promoted officers to continue serving with dedication, and representing the image of the Nigeria Police Force honorably. Drawing from the adage, “to whom much is given, much is required,” he emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism, integrity, and accountability in their roles. He further cautioned against incivility towards the public and stressed the need to shun corruption in all forms.
The officers expressed their gratitude and pledged to remain professional, Civil, and diligent in their duties.
