The Labour Party in Isiala Ngwa LGA felicitated with Chief Fidel Ihemere (MOR), a Labour Party chieftain, at his residence in Angels’ Lodge Country Home on Saturday, 15/06/2024.
Present at the occasion were Oke Nze Ginger Onwusibe (Onwa Ntigha), the Federal House of Representatives member for Isiala Ngwa North & South; Dr. Mathew Ekwuribe, the Honourable Commissioner for SME & Digital Economy; Mr. Innocent Nwokocha, the Labour Party State Deputy Chairman; Okeosusu Chibunna Nwanosike (OON), the Labour Party Stakeholders’ Chairman; Onyeukwu Ezihe, the Isiala Ngwa LGA Chairman; Ezechinyerem Ihuoma (Gamiriga), a former Assembly House candidate; the State, LGA, and Ward Executives; all the Old APGA Foundation (now all in Labour Party) State Executives and LGA Chairmen along with their Secretaries, Youth Leaders, and Women Leaders, including Dr. Nnate Uduma, the DG of the Abia North Political Forum and the ATT News Publisher, as well as many other Labour Party Senior Stakeholders and Traditional Title Holders.
Speaking at the occasion, the host – Chief Fidel Ihemere (MOR) – welcomed all the guests and encouraged them to be united and work together, as the task ahead would be more challenging than the previous ones, as many PDP politicians are now joining the APC.
The Federal House Member, Hon. Ginger Onwusibe, while recognizing the host – Chief Fidel Ihemere – pleaded with the Stakeholders to embrace the spirit of stakeholdership to move the party forward. He also requested that every member be his brother’s keeper, as the task ahead would be more fierce. He added that, as he is more of a political “Prophet”, he will always be there for them.
He also used the opportunity to speak about the AGRIBUSINESS he is promoting in Isiala Ngwa North & South, distributing agricultural products and truckloads of fertilizers to assist the farmers.
Others who spoke were the Honourable Commissioner for SME & Digital Economy, the Labour Party State Chairman through the Deputy, the Stakeholders’ Chairman, the LGA Chairman, and many others who encouraged the Party’s Stalwarts to be steadfast and welcoming in mass mobilizing our like-minded individuals.
