Obi Aguocha is Not Ingrate – Group Replies Prem Obioma
Our attention has been drawn to the uncharitable statement attributed to the President of the Umuahia Branch of the popular Umuahia Premier Club, Prem Ako Obioma where he allegedly accused the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha of ingratitude and abandonment.
In a statement released to newsmen in Umuahia on Friday by the National Publicity Secretary of Democracy Coalition, Mr. Promise Uche, the group said there was no iota of truth in the allegation against Hon. Aguocha by Prem Obioma but asserted that Obioma is being used by the political enemies of the Labour Party candidate for next year’s general election to lower his towering popularity and estimation before the right members of the public.
The group who accused Obioma of nursing political ambition said he is free to run for election in 2031 if he wish but must stop using his unwarranted attacks on Hon. Aguocha to gain acceptance, popularity and recognitions among the people.
If there is any misunderstanding between him and Hon. Aguocha, there are internal mechanisms established by the Umuahia Premier Club to resolve such differences and not by playing to the gallery in an attempt to make himself a cheap without substance.
Therefore, we urge Prem Obioma to apologize to Hon. Aguocha over his unruly behavior and macabre dance in the market square.
