INEC AUTHENTICATES UKO NKOLE AS THE ABIA NORTH SENATORIAL CANDIDATE OF NDC
The immediate past House of Representatives Member For Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency Hon. Uko Nkole has gotten INEC authentication as the Abia North Senatorial Candidate of NDC. This brings to an end the confusion on who is the actual Candidate between him and his closest rival, Chief Nnamdi Iro Orji, popularly known as Opotoyom.
The primary election, held on May 29, 2026, witnessed a large turnout of party delegates and members from the five local government areas within the senatorial zone.
At the end of the exercise, the immediate past House of Representatives Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Hon. Uko Nkole reportedly outperformed other contestants to clinch the party’s nomination for Abia North Senatorial Zone.
The delay in the official announcement and authentication has generated anxiety among party members and observers awaiting formal confirmation of the outcomes.
