Ikenna Ukwa Honored as Exceptional Pillar of Support by MCA, PCN Ehere Parish
Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has been conferred with an Award of Recognition as an “Exceptional Pillar of Support” by the Men’s Christian Association, MCA, of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ehere Parish, Aba.
The award was presented to Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa during the 2026 Father’s Day Celebration held at the church auditorium on Sunday 21st June 2026.
According to the MCA, the award recognizes Hon. Ikenna Ukwa’s consistent commitment to the growth of the church, humanity and contributions to community development.
Presenting the award, the Chairman of the Men’s Christian Association, Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ehere Model Parish, Aba, Mr Kalu Obasi, described Chief Ikenna Ukwa as a man of faith, integrity, and service whose support for the church and society stands out.
“Hon. Ikenna Ukwa has proven himself as a true son of the church and a pillar that others can lean on. This recognition is in appreciation of his selfless service to God and humanity,” the chairman said.
In his response, Chief Ikenna Ukwa, who is also the APC Flagbearer for House of Representatives, Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency expressed gratitude to God and to the Men’s Christian Association for the honor. He dedicated the award to the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia and reaffirmed his commitment to upholding Christian principles in public service.
“I receive this award with humility and a deep sense of responsibility. My faith in God and service to His people will continue to guide my actions as I seek to represent Arochukwu/Ohafia with honor,” he added.
The Church prayed for God’s continued blessings upon him and success in his future endeavours.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa was represented at the event by Engr. Chief George Nnanna Kalu.
