Ikenna Ukwa: My Mission For 2027 Is Clear – The Best Choice For Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency

IKENNA UKWA: THE BEST CHOICE FOR 2027-AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

I present myself not as a mere aspirant, not as an outsider, and certainly not as a stranger but as your brother, your son, your neighbor, and your servant. I have walked among you, worked beside you, and shared in your pains, your hopes, and your dreams.

2. This decision is not one taken lightly. It is born out of a sense of responsibility and a deep love abiding for our people. It is rooted in years of service and shaped by a clear understanding that our constituency deserves not just promises, but progress, not just representation, but results.
3. From the halls of the National Assembly in Abuja to the very heart of our communities, I have seen both the power of governance and the pain of neglect. I have listened to your stories of broken roads, unfulfilled promises, children unable to pay school fees, communities without electricity, and youths without opportunities. I have not just heard you, I have acted. Because I believe that politics must be about people, not positions.
4. Over the years, through personal commitment and collective effort, we have taken meaningful steps together:

• Establishing ward and LGA offices to strengthen grassroots engagement
• Installing over 5,000 solar-powered streetlights across Arochukwu and
  Ohafia LGAs.
• Sponsoring free medical and eye outreaches in Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency including at the Uzuakoli Leprosy Centre, Bende LGA.
• Payment of NECO fees and awarding scholarships to deserving students both in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions.
• Supporting education through infrastructure like school development projects, construction of female hostels in FGC Ohafia and distribution of academic materials to primary and secondary schools in Ohafia LGA.
• Empowering artisans, women, and youths with tools and opportunities.
• Sponsoring football tournaments to promote unity across our communities, among others too numerous to mention.

2. These were not campaign projects. They were acts of responsibility, proof that begins long before elections.
3. As an immediate past Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, I have gained invaluable experience in lawmaking, policy development, and national negotiations. I
   understand how the government works and more importantly, how it should work for the people. I have learned that true power lies not in titles, but in the ability to deliver meaningful change.
4. I present myself as a unifier bridging Arochukwu and Ohafia, youth and elders, tradition and progress. This is not a time for division. This is a time to build.
5. My mission for 2027 is clear: UNITY, EMPOWERMENT, AND EFFECTIVE REPRESENTATION.
6. Together, we will:

• Champion Federal Infrastructure Development and turn Arochukwu and Ohafia into an Agro Processing corridor, Secure funding for roads, bridges, schools, and healthcare facilities to ensure our
  constituency gets its fair share.
• Drive Youth Empowerment & Job Creation. Link our young people to national employment programs, create tech hubs, and push for entrepreneurship grants and startup support.
• Promote Women’s Empowerment. Expand access to microloans, training, and leadership opportunities for women across our communities.
• Advance Education & Future Skills. Improve school infrastructure, integrate digital learning, and prepare our children for a competitive global future.
• Strengthen Rural Development & Connectivity. Improve agricultural access roads, expand electrification, and bring broadband connectivity to underserved areas.
• Expand the “Light of Abia” Initiative. Ensure every community benefits from sustainable solar solutions for security, water systems, and economic activities.
• Protect Our Heritage & Promote Tourism. Preserve cultural institutions while unlocking economic opportunities through tourism development.
• Institutionalize Transparent Governance. Publish quarterly constituency reports and establish a Constituency Advisory Council to give every ward a voice.

2. Above all, I make these solemn pledges;

• I will be accessible, your voice will always reach me.
• I will be transparent, every project and every naira will be accounted for.
• I will be inclusive, no village, no clan, no group will be left behind.
• I will be relentless, I will fight for you in Abuja and beyond.

2. To my fellow members of the APC, I reaffirm my loyalty and commitment. I will work with every ward, every LGA, and every stakeholder, not just as a candidate, but as a partner in progress. Together, we will build a stronger, united party ready for victory.
3. To the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, I ask for your mandate not for power, but for purpose, not for position, but for transformation.
4. To our leaders, I seek your guidance.
5. And to God Almighty, I ask for grace, wisdom, and strength to serve faithfully.
6. I will be your voice. I will be your advocate. I will be your fighter in the House of Representatives. I am not here to divide. I am here to unite. Not just to promise but to deliver. Let us rise together. Let us move forward together. Let us build a future that reflects our strength, our unity, and the destiny of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency.
