IKENNA UKWA PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO FORMER DEPUTY GOVERNOR, UDE OKO
The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa today paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, RT Hon Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, at his Umuahia country home.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa thanked the former Deputy Governor for his warm welcome and hospitality. He said the essence of the visit is to familiarize himself with him and seek his guidance and support, and also tap from his wealth of knowledge and wisdom as a seasoned politician and political stakeholder in Abia North and Abia State at large.
The Media and Advertising consultant also used the medium to inform His Excellency of his plans for Nkporo community, as he is leaving no stone unturned to ensure he facilitates projects that will be impactful to the community, within the ambits of his resources and contacts.
His Excellency, RT Hon Ude Oko Chukwu in his response thanked him for the visit. He said he is impressed that young people like him are becoming politically enlightened and enthusiastic to take over political leadership. He described Mr Ikenna Ukwa as a young, energetic and visionary young man, and informed him to always feel free to contact him and every other stakeholder whenever the need arises.
Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu also used the opportunity to formally introduce Chief Ikenna Ukwa to distinguished personalities who were present during the visit and have held several political positions in Ohafia LGA and Abia State at large.
