Following the historic event that saw His Royal Paramountcy, Ezie Ohamoha Elder. Engr. Awa Orji Udonsi Àccends The Royal throne of his Ancestors on Sunday Afor 6th July 2025, and in line with the custom and tradition of Ohafia, today Nkwo’ Monday 7th July 2025 in company of his select Umu-Anya ruling family visited Amuma Ohafia for the final rites Ezieogo Elu to mutate to “The Udumeze Of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom”
On arrival to the land of great prophets, the team led my the leader of Umu-Anya ruling family of Elu Ohafia, Prince Chukwuma Kalu Udensi paid a courtesy call on Ezieogo Amuma, who is also the Ezie Agba Ohafia (deputy Udumeze) HRM Dr. Kalu Ikenga together with his full cabinet who were on hand to receive the new Ohafia number one King.
It was a carnival sort of to behold a beautiful procession into the community square as led by Akpan Troup, while those within the vicinity of Npari U’bu’ba Amuma’ could not hide their joy following the historic acceptance and declaration of His Royal Paramountcy, Ezie Elder. Awa Orji Udonsi as the now Udumeze Of Ohafia by Ezie Agba Ohafia Dr. Kalu Ikenga.
It’s Instructive to note that today’s proclamation of Ezieogo Awa Orji Udonsi as the Udumeze Of Ohafia has ushered in a new Era for Nde Ohafia.
Recall that Udumeze privy council and Count of Ohafia Ancient Kingdom, on Ethics Privilages and customs & Tradition, Nze Uche Uche Ohafia Moderated the seedless Traditinal proceedings.
