IKENNA UKWA LEADS SOME APC STAKEHOLDERS IN OHAFIA LGA FOR AN APPRECIATION VISIT TO SENATOR ORJI UZOR KALU
The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa yesterday led some prominent APC stakeholders from Ohafia LGA for an appreciation visit to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu ,the Senator Representing Abia North Senatorial District, in his office, National Assembly complex, Abuja.
The aim of the visit is to appreciate the Senator’s efforts and massive infrastructural development in Abia North, particularly in Ohafia and Arochukwu LGAs.
Earlier in his speech, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa thanked the Federal Lawmaker for his visible projects in all the LGAs that make up Abia North Senatorial District, adding that he deemed it fit to lead the visit to encourage him to do more and never to relent in his strive to leave legacy projects that will stand the test of time for his constituents in Abia North.







In their separate speeches, some of the stakeholders applauded the former Governor of Abia State and the Senator for his sterling leadership qualities and unprecedented achievements as a lawmaker. They also used the medium to laud Ikenna Ukwa’s commitment in engaging with the stakeholders and members of the APC in Ohafia and Arochukwu LGAs, including his relentless efforts in attracting projects in some communities in Abia, and also bringing the party members together to foster peace, unity and progress.
In his response, the host, Chief Dr Orji Uzor Kalu expressed overwhelming joy to his August visitors for the visit and encouraging words, which he said will spur him to do more for the Senatorial zone. Senator Kalu used the opportunity to praise Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, for his ingenuity and special post birthday anniversary gift to him, by sponsoring a free eye and medical outreach including visitation to the motherless babies home in Lohum Imenyi Uzuakoli, in Bende LGA which is the Senator’s local government of origin.

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu further described Ikenna Ukwa as a promising young man with good prospects, and a lover of humanity who will always make a difference in any position he finds himself. He urged him to remain resilient and steadfast while supporting the APC in Ohafia and Abia State at large.
The APC Chairman, Ohafia LGA, Chief Emma Nwosu, and the APC Chairman, Arochukwu LGA, Chief John I. Okoro(John Million) including other chieftains of the party in Ohafia LGA, Chief George Nnanna Kalu, Barr Dr Emeka I.U. Kalu, Barr Udo Uduma and Mr Jackline Ume, were among the stakeholders that accompanied Ikenna Ukwa to the visit.
