JUST IN: AMAEKPU FC PRESENTS TROPHY TO IKENNA NICOLAS UKWA
The Amaekpu Ohafia FC team earlier today visited Chief (Dr.) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , the sponsor of the IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION FOOTBALL COMPETITION IN OHAFIA LGA, at his country home in Amaekpu Ohafia to present the trophy they won in the tournament, during the finals held yesterday April 20 2025.
The Amaekpu Ohafia FC team presented the trophy to Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , thanking him for organizing the premier competition in Ohafia LGA, which gave all the participating team in three clans in Ohafia LGA the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents.
Chief Ikenna Ukwa commended the team for their efforts, resilience, and team spirit, expressing pride in their achievement by bringing the trophy home. He further emphasized his intention to nurture talents in sports, aiming for local and international recognition for Ohafia LGA and Abia State, while making plans to upgrade some fields in Ohafia for future football competitions.
Ikenna Ukwa also stated that he intends to collaborate with the Abia State government and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development to raise talents and improve sports in Ohafia LGA and Abia State.
