THE OPENING CEREMONY AND FIRST KICK OFF MATCH OF IKENNA AND JENN UKWA FOUNDATION FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT:
The Ikenna and Jenn Ukwa football tournament kick started on Sunday 30th March 2025 at exactly 4:00pm . The football tournament kick off was held at Ofali Agwu Primary School mini stadium, Amaekpu Ohafia with Amaekpu and Nkporo taking the first match which ended 3:0 in favor of Amaekpu.
At the venue was Chief Ikenna Ukwa and his entourage, APC Ohafia Leader High Chief Uche Ogboso and other APC Party top leadership; the organizers, the match spectators and a host of other dignitaries.
In his speech during an interactive section Chief Ikenna Ukwa said the aim of hosting the football tournament is to inspire the youth to do something better in the spirit of sportsmanship and to bring hope to the Ohafia children and youth in general..
The football tournament has eight (8) teams participating and it’s slated to end on the 20th of April 2025.
