THE JOURNEY SO FAR: FOUNDATION PROJECTS EXECUTED BY HON. CHIEF IKENNA NICOLAS UKWA.

The projects embarked upon by Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , a distinguished public servant and philanthropist, under the auspices of his foundation, IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION, which he co-founded with his wife, Lolo Jennifer Ukwa, have had a profound impacts on the lives of Ohafia people and beyond.

His selfless endeavors to improve the lives of those around him demonstrate his deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by his community.

One of the most striking aspects of his Humanitarian Interventions projects is his focus on empowering vulnerable populations, supporting and investing in the future of his community, ensuring that the next generation is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive.

Also, some of his projects highlight the critical role that individuals can play in driving positive change in their communities. Hon. Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , the Senior Legislative Aide to The Senate President – Nigeria , and the CEO/Founder of Reigh Advertising & Consulting, and Co-Founder at East Point Media & Consult Limited has implemented numerous projects that have positively impacted various communities. A) Humanitarian and Community Development Projects:

  • Free Medical and Eye Testing Outreaches: Provided medical services to communities in Amaekpu and Akanu Ohafia.
  • Payment of medical bills for indigent patients.
  • Solar Powered Street Lights Installation: Installed 200 units of solar-powered street lights in Ebem Ohafia, and additional installations in Okon Aku Ohafia, Oboro community, and other areas.
  • Food Distribution: Distributed over 2000 5KG bags of rice to women and needy individuals in several communities in Ohafia.

B) Educational Support:

  • Payment of School Fees and Educational Grants: Supported indigent pupils and students in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions.
  • Distribution of Customized Exercise Books: Distributed over 20,000 customized exercise books to pupils and students in primary and secondary schools in Ohafia, Nkporo and Abiriba, all in Ohafia LGA of Abia State.

C) Empowerment and Economic Support:

  • Empowerment of Artisans: Distributed sewing machines to artisans to promote economic growth.
  • Business Support: Provided support to petty traders and small-scale business owners, among others.
