If Nigeria Is Not Working As A Country, Let’s Go Our Separate Ways – Sunday Igboho
Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has reignited the call for Nigeria’s disintegration, stating that the country’s systemic issues leave no room for national pride or unity.
In a video circulating on social media, Igboho, spotted at an airport in the United Kingdom, lamented the state of Nigeria’s economy, corruption, and insecurity.
He expressed his frustration over what he described as the disheartening realities faced by Nigerians, both at home and abroad.
“Even inside the airport, there is no security,” he decried.
“They can steal your belongings inside your bag at Nigerian airports. These are the things dissuading people from being proud of the country,” he added.
Igboho emphasised that Nigeria’s current trajectory is untenable, advocating for a peaceful separation of its ethnic groups.
“If Nigeria is not working as a country, it is better we go our separate ways,” he said.
The activist highlighted the potential of Yoruba youths, whom he described as well-travelled and resourceful.
“Our youths will transform Yoruba Nation. Most of them have travelled across the world, and they have learnt a lot. If they come back to Yoruba land, their knowledge will help build and transform the nation like those in Europe,” he added.
