THE SHADOW GOVERNMENT OF ABIA PDP IS LAUGHABLE AND JOKE TAKEN TOO FAR.
The 1st of December, 2024 was for Abians, a day not to bask in the euphoria of the yuletide season but to be greeted by a new slogganeering project of the opposition PDP in the state. It was a day to be remembered only in breach and infamy in the form of the launch of the new PDP fake inquisition, so called the Shadow Government of Abia state. Unu biakwa lere.

But the twist is that this bedlam, so called the Shadow government is a meddlesome camouflage, wolves in sheep’s clothing, hypocrites, chameleons, green snakes in green grass, erstwhile oppressors, men lacking in integrity, disgruntled opposition elements, men of brazen impunity, men of mob mentality, an illegal and illegitimate assembly and above all, an attempt to breach the public peace and visit the Abia citizenry with chaos.
One had thought that the newly elected Abia PDP Exco led by Abraham Amah will wait till 2027 to defeat Dr. Alex Otti and his government at the polls without the need to resort to illegality or dancing naked. But this latest dance of the ‘nwanza’ called the Shadow government cannot be taken lightly by Abia people who are not about trading their well fought and won plebescite in the favor of Dr. Alex Otti. The Shadow government will shadow in vain.
I will dare remind Abraham Amah and his dancing crew that the butterfly that thinks itself a bird is a treacherous and disgraceful satire that ended in tragedy. That is how his illegality code named the Shadow government will end up also in disgrace. One may ask on what grounds and of what use is this breach of public peace stylishly christened Shadow government is for the good people of Abia now that Abia state is in the news, no more for the banality of the erstwhile regimes but for showing measurable signs of progress and impactful governance.
The New Abia today has left no one in doubt of her proclivity towards spreading projects across the nooks and crannies of the State that slept for 24 years nonstop due to poor leadership. Some of us can today hold our heads high a bit even when the issues borders on lack of accountability. It’s for us, far more important and better to have the projects first before seducing mostly questionable figures on how the projects came about. It is an insult and an affront to common sense that we now have people that never believed in projects while in government nor tried to develop the state to ceaselessly inundate our psyche daily with projects inquisition based on accountability processes.
PDP and their minions should stop their needless distractions in the name of flexing opposition. It is a pity and shameful that one or two politicians that I respect agreed to attach their names to this ignoble contraption being paraded as ‘Shadow’ government. I will strongly advise them to quickly retrace and retract their steps or they’ll shadow themselves into irrelevance. This Shadow government is opposition intolerance taken to unacceptable limits and i can bet that the shadow shield upon which they ejaculate will spell doom for all of them that appended their names on it. These are ‘Obote’ men seeking relevance through the back door. Nothing mega.
I will lastly enjoin Dr Alex Otti not to be cowed nor even spare the rod in confronting this latest opposition blitz. Opposition politics is not a suppository of immunity to act in illegality. Eleke the bird hunter should position skillfully to shoot without missing, as the bird indulges in the egregious dance of parambulation. The PDP Exco are not clothed in immunity. Every unconstitutionality will be equally met with extra constitutional powers. Merry Christmas in advance to all my followers and readers.
