GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI ATTENDS THE SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION OF THE HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND CHIEFTAINCY AFFAIRS AND HIS AMIABLE WIFE.
November 28th, Governor Alex Otti, OFR, Honored the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Sir, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu and his wife with his presence as they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.
Sir Uzor Nwachukwu also used the event to mark his birthday and launched a book he co-authored with Evang. Okechukwu Peter Nwachukwu.
Speaking during the event, Governor Otti described Uzor Nwachukwu as a good man who has chosen to serve God. He commended him for remembering to thank God and inviting people to celebrate with him, saying that, it is easy to forget the goodness of God in people’s life.
Governor Otti underscored the point that despite his busy schedule, Sir Nwachukwu still finds time to read and write. He challenged others to do same if they want to learn, noting that the easiest way to learn is to read.
Governor Otti unveiled the book and bought many copies for sharing to other people.
The event which was held at the Wonderland Event Center at Umuahia South LGA was attended by top Government functionaries at the State and Local Government levels including captains of industries and religious leaders.
