Eke O. Ako’s Has Gov Otti got it Wrong? Published 11hours ago
In Nigeria’s history, Esteemed Tai Solarin’s story serves as a powerful reminder that criticism and governance require different skill sets. His vocal criticism of General Ibrahim Babangida’s military regime led to an unexpected invitation to manage People’s Bank of Nigeria. This opportunity allowed him to address issues he previously criticized, demonstrating governance’s complexity. He ran the bank aground which ultimately failed
Maybe, just maybe, your case will be different. I am encouraging Esteemed Eke O. Ako to consider running for public office in Abia State: state house of assembly, governor, house of representatives, or even senate or president. This invitation stems from your impactful public engagement, particularly as your civil engagements reaches over 21,000 people.
As a University lecturer, I understand centers prioritize research excellence and/or revenue generation. Speaking from my father’s stories of Harvard University as he studied PhD Economics, petitions are treated based on its own merit. Secondly, since you made public your letter to stop the lecture, why question the leaking of your letter to Abia state? Next time as a humble suggestion, keep your communication private and hope that your trust will not be betrayed. My brother, I salute your courage, but manage public communication carefully, ensuring criticism doesn’t veer into harmful territory.
Reflecting on your masterful video showcasing a supposed labour party financier addressing Governor Otti and Labor Party crises, it is a tree that stands in face of an impending disastrous storm not a human being and definitely not His Excellency. Migrating his men to another party – Zenith Labour Party is a strategic move. Anybody criticising it, is simply playing to the gallery. There are options available to rational being; such as
Strategic retreat, governance challenges, prophetic guidance, prayer support and addressing Abia’s lingering issues.
Strategic Retreat
Retreating to reassess and relaunch when facing stronger opposition is a wise tactical move. This allows leaders to recharge, reflect and adjust their strategy to tackle challenges more effectively. In our case, the governor is listening, adjusting and adapting. Give him some time, even as you engage which is commendable.
Governance Challenges
Governance challenges in Abia State are complex and multifaceted. Instead spending ample time speaking and of course gaining favorable social media reviews, why not address strongholds and centrifugal forces bent on state capture? The governor a could be victim? Have you prayed long enough as a prophet? It’s very easy to turn on the camera, microphone and offer alternative perspectives. But difficult to add countless hours for intercession along. If you do, I swear you’ll come off sending tons of private messages to Governor, tons of love will pour out when addressing pressing state matters. My humble suggestion though.
Readers, may be asking me, Dr, provide answers to the hard core questions that Ekeoma O. Ako is asking. I have been spending time providing these and more on a daily basis from my *bunker here in Abuja: managing information and coordinating prayers for the state. *For your information, we have a 50-year plan, broken into 5-year plan prayer and communication Outreaches for the Abia state* it’s beyond the governor. I chose to appeal to my beloved brother to continue his work but add two more tools: private communications to the governor and hours of heartfelt intercession for the State. Honestly, it will show in your style.
Prophetic Guidance
Prophetic insights that God gave you Sir is to encourage prayer and support for Governor Otti in your private altar as you pray to God. *Governor Otti and any other Governors of our state require our prayers. *There are deep foundational problems hindering the state* emphasizing spiritual guidance in leadership. Biblical prophets Jeremiah and Samuel exemplify bold, yet gentle guidance.
Prayer Support
Focusing prayer on Governor Oti’s well-being between 12 noon and 2am fosters spiritual strength. Pastor Jerry’s support underscore prayer’s significance.
In conclusion Sir, I must say gladly that it was refreshing to hear you say times without number that you don’t hate Governor Otti. Join us to intercede for Abia State Governor Otti isn’t the problem. Secondly I personally celebrate you on your civil engagement, critiques and leadership. Your passionate approach, though seemingly antagonistic, offers valuable perspectives. Remember: effective governance differs from criticism; leaders face complexities unseen by critics.
