Official Reveals Cause Of Fire At Supreme Court, Says No Casualties
Nigeria’s Supreme Court has said no life was lost in the fire incident which razed a section of its expansive complex located at the Three Arms Zone of Federal Capital Territory, FCT Monday morning.
The fire incident reportedly consumed offices of three justices of the apex court, but no casualty was recorded, spokesperson for Supreme Court, Festus Akande, was quoted as saying by Channels Television.
He added that the fire outbreak originated from one of the Chambers of the Justices and was put out with the use of fire extinguishers.
Some reports indicated that the fire incident started around 6 am. and was detected by workers who resumed early for work.
The workers reportedly used the fire extinguishers in the building to combat the fire.
“The fire has since been put out. There was no casualty,” Akande said
