Nigerians Have Given Tinubu A Nickname, They Now Refer To Him As ‘Baba Go Fast’ – Dele Alake.
As the nation continues to assess the performance of the newly-minted Bola Tinubu administration in its first three weeks in office, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Dele Alake has come out to reveal that many Nigerians are so impressed with the pace of the current government that they have chosen to give the President a nickname.
While speaking during an exclusive interview with a State House Correspondent from ARISE NEWS, Alake, who was recently appointed as Special Adviser to the President on Communication and Special Duties, stated that Nigerians now refer to Tinubu as ‘Baba Go Fast’ because this is the first time they will witness such lightning speed in governance since democracy returned to the country.
He said; “truly speaking, nobody has witnessed this type of fast-paced administration before. In the history of this country, nobody has seen a government like this that has hit the ground running very valiantly and ferociously. Nigerians now refer to the President as Baba Go Fast because the public has not been used to the frenetic pace of events. And these aren’t just ordinary events, they are epochal events based on critical policies.
This afternoon, we were with the President when we saw comments on social media referring to him as ‘Baba Go Fast’. Some even said he should go on vacation. Some said when they watch television, they can’t go to the toilet and come back without seeing another breaking news of another policy from the Tinubu administration. But this shows you that Nigerians can appreciate a leader that knows his onions.”
