AS WE WAIT FOR JUSTICE FROM THE JUDICIARY ON THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PETITION OF MR GREGORY PETER OBI AND YUSUF DATTI AHMED AGAINST THE ILLEGAL DECLARATION OF BOLA AHMED TINUBU AND KASHIM SHETTIMA AS THE WINNERS OF THE FEBRUARY 25TH PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, AN SOS TO THE CHIEF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA NOT TO ADMINISTER AN OATH OF OFFICE ON BOLA AHMED TINUBU AND HIS DEPUTY TO AVOID A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS THAT MAY PUT THE NATION’S JUDICIARY IN JEOPARDY.
ARISE O, Compatriots, Nigeria call obey.!!! To serve our fatherland, with love and strength and faith.
Obidient Movement are faithful Nigerians and faithful Nigerians are the true patriots. Only true Nigerians can bring about a new Nigeria.
With this patriotic but clarion call, we wish to lend our voice with that of the conveners of Free Nigeria Movement, Dr Moses Paul, Convener of POEM Comrade Benedict Chu’O Ezeagu and that of Citizens Unite for Democracy (CUD), as well as those of Engr Babachir Lawal of Northern Christians for Peter Obi, Austin Okeke Esq & all the Lawyers for Peter Obi in Nigeria and Diaspora including Ajibola Ekor Ubi Esq, the CPO across the globe, the NLC, CSO, NGOs, and all the Obidient men and women across the globe which cut across ethnicity or tribe, and to all of you our Fathers and Mothers ( the elders of this nation) to rise to the occasion of standing against the rascality, usurpation of Executive power by violence, rigging, intimidation, bribery e.t.c leading to a state capture of Nigeria nation and Nigerians by a privileged few.
2023 election has proved that there is neither ethnic nor religious war amongst Nigerians but a tyranny perpetrated by less than 10,000 upper class Nigerians against the 200 million oppressed Nigerian population with the connivance of a savage few officials of government in power. Our people say that An elder does not sit at home and watch the she-goat suffer the pain of childbirth while tied to a tether.
Therefore the elders represented by the Supreme Court should not sit and watch as this nation descend to total anarchy and chaos. The judiciary should continue to uphold the ethos of remaining the last hope of the common man by avoiding every temptation to swear in Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima of the APC on the 29th of May, 2023.
Having the Chief Justice of Nigeria to perform the oath swearing ceremony will determine the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal matter which is already in court and subjudice. By the time the Chief Justice who’s supposed to be occupying a position of a neutral umpire in the election petitions perform the OATH swearing on one of the parties in the case, his neutrality will become a constitutional aberration.
The Chief Justice of the Federation of Nigeria should therefore resist every temptation of joining the third arm of government in the national calamity of swearing in an illegally declared President Elect. The Judiciary arm of government led by the Chief Justice is in the circumstances called upon to stand tall and firm in defence of our Constitution.
The Chief Justice of the Federation should join other patriotic elders, nationalists, icons in standing up for a New Nigeria project that everyone one of us will be proud of while his blessings will count amongst the following: Chief Dr. Edwin Kaigbodo Clark a.k.a Gbugorogo of IJAW Land the President of PANDEF, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, leader of Afenifere, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, Prof. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Okwadike Igbo Ukwu, former Governor of Anambra State and the Leader of the National Elders Council of Nigeria, His Excellency Prophet Isa Elbuba, Archbishop Prof. Leonard Kawas, Prof Pat Utomi of The Big Tent, Mazi Nice Chijioke Ogbonnaya leader of Enyimba Progressive Association Worldwide (EPA), Hon Pamson Dagyat , Nat Coordinator of Coalition for Peter Obi (CPO) Dr. Bitrus Pogu president Middlebelt Forum, Chief Dr. M. May God Almighty richly bless us all who out of thick and thin, sacrificed and continued to sacrifice our time, resources, and intellects to ensure that a New Nigeria Is birthed. Having acknowledged very few of us and appealing for the kind understanding of very many others both across the nation and in the Diaspora that weren’t mentioned here due to time constraints.
LET’S NOT GET TIRED, LET’S WAKE UP NOW IN THE THIRD PHASE OF TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY WITH A STRATEGIC NATIONAL CONTINUOUS PEACEFUL PROTEST DEMANDING FOR OUR STOLEN MANDATE TO BE RESTORED BY THE JUDICIARY WHICH IS THE LAST HOPE OF NIGERIA CITIZENS IN THE FACE OF THIS IMPUNITY , POLITICAL TERRORISM & ROBBERY AIMED AT DESTROYING DEMOCRACY AND ENTHRONING HOOLIGANISM AND LAWLESSNESS because Nigeria is our country.
Our slogan is Nigeria now or never! as Sunny Okosun prophesied during his lifetime. Nigerians should wake up and take their country back. Nigerians North, East, South, and East should be ready to stand up and defend their rights and freedom through peaceful protests.
Going to sleep now will arm our oppressors to continue in their evil plans. Obidients should lead while others follow until the people’s mandate is retrieved from election Mandate thieves. Occupy Nigeria should be activated nationwide to stop the impunity to snatch the people’s will by Executive rascality.
Finally, may we remind the ChiefJustice that Nigeria’s judiciary is on trial just as our democracy is also on trial. He should not disappoint Nigerians and the international community especially other less Democratic African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana etcetera who’s judiciary made their country proud. To miss this golden opportunity of writing our name in gold will bring a huge setback to this fractious nation.
