WAR AGAINST GLOBAL POVERTY:
ICOSD THE WAY FORWARD.
At the United Nation’s sustainable development summit held on the 25th of September 2015, world leaders adopted the 2030 agenda for global sustainable development whose goal is to end extreme poverty, fight inequality, injustice and tackle climate change by 2030 hence the emergence of ICOSD. The Organization represents the global voice of billions of people from all ramifications of life who are rising against poverty in the global community.
It aims at establishing a global structure which will change the current global poverty narrative by restoring the divine model for global poverty eradication in a creative and innovative way, promoting biblical world view, humanism and collective socio-economic empowerment in one spirit, one body and one wealth in order to achieve the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal One: ‘No Poverty’ by 2072 – A 50 year Strategic Operational Structure and Empowerment Plan (SOSEP) to be unveiled during the inauguration for eradication of global poverty beginning from Nigeria.
Can anything good come out of Nigeria!The International Christian Organisation for Sustainable Development (ICOSD) Nigeria Chapter will officially be inaugurated in Nigeria on the 21st of October 2022 at the International Ecumenical Centre, Central Area Abuja by 10am with the theme: END POVERTY IN NIGERIA under the Chairmanship of Senator (Dr) George Akume, the Honourable Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs Nigeria.
Expected in attendance to Flag-off this noble vanguard are H.E. Professor Yemi Osibanjo (SAN), H.E. Alh. Atiku Abubarka, H.E. Alh. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, H.E. Dr. Peter Gregory Obi, H.E. Rabiu Kwankwaso, SFG. Boss Mustapha, Senator Philip Aduda, Senator Barnabas Gemade, Senator Remi Tinubu, Senator Gabriel Suswam, Senator Emmanuel Orkegh-Jev, General T.Y.
