While many would want to make recourse to unconstitutional and undemocratic zoning system between OHAFIA and AROCHUKWU LGA for the office of the House of Representatives, it would also be recalled that Ohafia people has been contesting elections for the same office during 2015 and 2019, they also received massive support and voted from both Local Government without sentiment or zoning agitation. However all that was as a show of value to our democratic principles.
The All Progressives Party (APC) as a party with progressive and democratic ideology adopted him as the House of Representatives candidate and flag bearer because they deemed him fit and competent enough to offer quality representation to the people of Arochukwu/ Ohafia Federal Constituency.
More importantly, he is a Leader with no blemish, the man popularly known as MEZIE ABIA is not just a popular figure in the State, but one who is well loved and respected, he has always avail himself to the advancement of his people, their interests remain dear to him and he would never jeopardize them.
Anyone with clear and cerebral mind would know that with the level of impart and human development to the society, High Chief Dr. Daniel Okeke, MEZIE ABIA, is a man whose enviable qualities and so many track records of achievements have not obscured his love and interest in people, with dint of hardwork and avowed faith in his destiny, he has strategically paved the road on which he has been running his race and today, MEZIE ABIA is not only a household name but remains in the league of the most successful and outstanding achiever Leader of Abia State.
