Bishop Sunday Onuoha, the Abia state ADC Governorship candidate for 2023 received Members of the Abia North Consensus Candidate Screening committee Committee yesterday 23rd July, 2022 at his Vision Africa Complex Umuahia.
With him to receive the team were Apostle Agomuo, the Abia State CAN(Christian Association of Nigeria) chairman and Chief Ogba Nwokoro, the President General Item Development Association.
The CAN Chairman, Apostle Agomuo told the visiting team that CAN Abia State has endorsed Bishop Sunday Onuoha because Christians in Abia State wants to return God’s own state to a true man of God.
Similarly, Chief Ogba Nwokoro, the President General of Item Development Association, commended Bishop Sunday Onuoha as a man of integrity and honour who also was the President General of Item Development Association for 14 years before him and there was so much economic and infrastructural development.
The visiting team then went ahead to ask Bishop Sunday Onuoha questions that will enable them properly assess his readiness, capacity, knowledge of good Governance etc
In his closing remarks, the team lead and DG Abia North Political Projects 2023 group Dr. Uduma Nnate thanked the Bishop for his time and strong believe in Abia North presenting a consensus Candidate. He also assured him that the committee will be fair to all and will use information gotten in taking their decision. He further said that they will continue to monitor his Political moves just like other candidates before they they take their decision.
