WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY 2026
Etiokwe Celebrates Teachers Across Ohafia South and Abia State
The Member representing Ohafia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Kalu Mba Nwoke (Etiokwe), warmly celebrates teachers across Ohafia South and Abia State as the world marks World Teachers’ Day 2026.
Today, we honour the dedicated men and women who have devoted themselves to educating, mentoring and shaping the next generation. Your commitment, patience and sacrifices continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of our children and in the development of our communities.
Teachers are not only educators, they are builders of character, moulders of minds and architects of the future. Every doctor, lawyer, engineer, entrepreneur, leader and professional began the journey under the guidance of a teacher.
As we celebrate you today, I acknowledge the challenges you face and commend your resilience and professionalism. We must continue to prioritise teacher welfare, professional development, quality learning environments and improved conditions of service.
As your representative, I remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote quality education, empower our young people and contribute to the development of human capital in Ohafia South and Abia State.
To every teacher in our schools and communities, I say thank you for your service, sacrifice and dedication.
Happy World Teachers’ Day 2026.
Your impact goes beyond the classroom.
Your lessons live on in generations.
Hon. Chief Kalu Mba Nwoke (Etiokwe)
