Osita Offor Warns That Those With Empty Rhetoric Against Gov. Alex Otti Should Be Ready To Face “Wrath of the People”.
Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, popularly known as De Ultimate Commander and the Ikenga Gburugburu, has issued a stern warning to politicians engaging in what he described as empty rhetoric, baseless allegations, and calculated propaganda against the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR.
Speaking during a strategic engagement with members of the Ultimate Liberation Movement Media Team, Ambassador Offor declared that those deliberately heating up the polity through misinformation and unsubstantiated attacks on the Governor would ultimately face the wrath of the people. He vowed to deploy every legitimate and legal means within the ambit of the law to challenge and expose false narratives aimed at destabilizing the state.
According to him, Abia has moved beyond the era where politics was driven by insults, deception, and recycled propaganda. He stressed that those who allege wrongdoing must be prepared to prove their claims, warning that reckless statements and character assassination would no longer go unanswered.
“He who alleges must prove,” Offor stated. “Abia people are watching, and they will not be deceived again. Those who failed the state in the past cannot rewrite history with lies simply because 2027 is approaching.”
Ambassador Offor cautioned desperate politicians—particularly those nursing ambitions to dislodge the Abia people’s mandate with their stooges or those waiting to be assured of rigging signal from Abuja to get courage to contest against Governor Otti in 2027, should wake up from their slumber and know that they’re coming to waste their resources. Abia State can no longer be pocketed or captured by family political dynasty, when they cannot deliver. They should embrace issue-based politics and constructive engagement rather than personal attacks against Governor Otti, whose administration is focused on reforms, accountability, and rebuilding public confidence in governance.
Ambassador Offor condemned what he termed as sustained, unwarrnted attacks by members of the “old political brigade,” whom he accused of presiding over years of stagnation and economic decline while in power, only to resurface now with hollow criticisms and divisive rhetoric.
“2027 will not be about noise, cho cho cho, or empty promises,” he said. “It will be an operation of scorecards. Those without verifiable achievements should step aside and stop insulting the intelligence of Ndi Abia.”
Offor emphasized that leadership is a function of capacity and competence, insisting that Abia North and the state at large deserve leaders with vision, integrity, and the ability to deliver measurable results, not recycled politicians trading in bitterness and political entitlement.
He further urged the electorate to remain vigilant, reject inducements, and resist attempts to manipulate the democratic process through misinformation or fear, stressing that political power belongs to the people, not to a privileged few.
Reaffirming his confidence in the political maturity of Abians, Ambassador Offor maintained that as long as citizens stay informed and engaged, the will of the people would prevail in 2027. He used the opportunity to thank the working governor for his commitment to wholesome development of Abia state and his resolve to continue to pursue people – oriented policies that will positively affect Ndi-Abia, urging him not ro mind detractor and political desparadoes.
His warning, observers note, signals a growing resolve among political stakeholders to defend issue-based discourse and protect the integrity of Abia’s political space, while holding detractors accountable for reckless and divisive rhetoric.
