Chief Dr. Sam Anya (Akaekpuchionwa), today tendered his formal resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect, at all levels of involvement and participation.
He said, after deep reflection on the lingering internal crisis within the party and its current state, he has come to the painful but inevitable conclusion that he can no longer, in good conscience, continue to associate with or lend his support to the party’s activities, structure, or agenda. See attached resignation letter.
During a telephone interview with our team, he said he is now prepared and well positioned to grab the Abia North Senatorial ticket of his new party APC for 2027 Senatorial election. That he is moving with the entire Akaekpuchionwa Organisation in the entire state and beyond.
He asked all his loyalists to remain steadfast and wait for further directives
