WE ARE HAPPY IKENNA UKWA HAS REMEMBERED US BY FACILITATING SOLAR STREET LIGHTS IN NKPORO…HRH Eze Agwu N. Kalu
The Aloke 1 of Agbaja Nkporo Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Agwu Nwankwo Kalu has lauded the track records of development-driven initiatives and the giants efforts of the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa in bringing social amenities and infrastructures in communities in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs, and particularly, for remembering Nkporo by facilitating the installation of solar powered street lights for the clan.

The Royal Father made the commendation on Tuesday 9th December 202t at his palace in Agbaja Nkporo, when he received Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa’s team led by High Chief Uche Ogboso, the contractor and the Abia State team of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC for the official handover of site to the contractor, Kaplan Consults Limited for the installation of solar powered street lights in Etitiama, Okwoko, Elughu, and Amurie communities and her environs in Nkporo, Ohafia LGA of Abia State.
Eze Agwu Nwankwo on behalf of other traditional Rulers from the benefitting communities prayed for God’s continuous blessings, strength and success in Ikenna’s life endeavours and future ambitions.









Earlier in their respective speeches, High Chief Uche Ogboso and Engr George Nnanna Kalu including Chief Mrs Ezinne Udo Uduma who spoke on behalf of Ikenna’s team highlighted other achievements of Ikenna Ukwa especially in the area of health care delivery, education, agriculture, sports, and community service development. They described him as a young gentleman with a fresh idea who has never relented in his strive to better the lives of the populace and and attract unprecedented development for his people.
Engr Ekerete Uko who led the NDDC team from Abia State stated that they came to officially hand over site to the contractor to enable him commence work immediately. He expressed confidence in the contractor’s expertise and ability to deliver a quality job within the stipulated time and emphasized that the solar lights are meant for public places, such as markets, schools, and hospitals, including government public institutions and urged the community to cooperate with the contractor.
Highlights of the formal meeting was the signing of the contract documents, sealing the agreement between the domiciled Agency, the contractor and the community.
