OHAFIA COUNCIL BOSS, ELEANYA VISITS GODA HEADQUARTERS, SEEKS JOINT ACTION ON EROSION CRISIS IN EBEM OHAFIA
In a move towards addressing environmental challenges in Ohafia, the Executive Chairman of Ohafia Local Government Area, Chief Eleanya Kalu Ojuu, led a delegation to the headquarters of the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA) on Monday.
Chief Ojuu was accompanied by some members of the Ohafia Legislative Council and other top officials of the local government. The delegation was warmly received by the Director General of GODA, Engr. Obinna Odum, and members of his executive team.
At the heart of the high-level deliberations was the alarming erosion threat devastating parts of Ebem Ohafia. The two leadership teams engaged in strategic discussions aimed at forging a collaborative approach to mitigate the growing menace.
