CONVERSION OF N10 BILLION NAIRA LOAN TO 32 BENEFICIARIES THROUGH A THIRD PARTY CALLS FOR IMMEDIATE ARREST OF OKEZIE VICTOR IKPEAZU.
Its a pity that some people are spending valuable time defending this brazen fraud in the name of contractor refinancing scheme or whatever you call it. The more you defend this open stealing of the people’s funds, the more you sound ridiculous.
It is very clear from the foregoing audit report released by government governor Alex Otti that Ferotex Construction Coy has been used by Ikpeazu to fleece the Abia account with reckless abandon. There was indeed never any intention by Ikpeazu to build an airport. The game all along of building an airport was sold as a deceit to carry out the nefarious diversion of public funds. There’s no way Okezie Ikpeazu will get away with this chicanery. It is such a shame for a man who watched over the total decay of infrastructure in our state with unforgivable criminal negligence for all the billions that entered Abia accounts in his 8 years reign to have indulged in such brazenness. Ferotex for all you care is also culpable in these financial sleaze.
We want to see the EFCC swing into operation without further delay to arrest these robbers. It is also pertinent to advise Governor Alex Otti to distance himself from Ferotex Construction to avoid obstruction of justice in this matter. It is an insult to partner with Ferotex in the New Abia we all suffered for considering their past antecedents.
The company is an accessory to crimes against Abia people. Okezie Ikpeazu and other state actors that participated in this crime should all be brought to book. It is disheartening to be reading about this debauchery like fictional tales when they constitute high crimes on the part of those entrusted with the people’s treasury to manage. Converting a N10 Billion loan from CBN by redistributing same to 32 different company’s accounts through a third party is brazen and outright stealing. Nothing short of prosecution of those involved will be acceptable to Abia people. Arrest Ikpeazu and his cohorts now.
