IKENNA UKWA INTERACTS WITH APC MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN OHAFOR WARD

In continution of his ward tour in Ohafia LGA of Abia State, the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa arrived Ohafor ward where the APC members and stakeholders converged at the residence of the former commissioner of Abia State and APC Chieftain from the ward, Hon Chidiebere Uwagwu in Asaga Ohafia to receive him and his team.
The meeting, which was well attended by the members and stakeholders of the party from the communities that make up the Ohafor ward, was hosted by Hon Chidiebere Uwagwu Kalu.
Before the meeting commenced, Chief (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa and his team earlier paid homage to the elders of Ndi Ezera compound, Asaga Ohafia, where the Revered elders and the oldest man from the compound, offered him elderly blessings and prayers, and wished him success in his future political ambitions.
The visibly elated Ikenna Ukwa, in his speech thanked the party members, stakeholders and numerous supporters from the ward for trooping out enmasse to receive and the warm reception accorded to him. He used the medium to assure the people that he is working assiduously to attract a project that will cut across the communities that make up Ohafor ward, which will be impactful and meaningful.
He said he is working tirelessly to unite the party both in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs by having periodic interactions with the members and the stakeholders both at the ward, LGA and at the State level. He added that the sacrifice and effort is to ensure the party becomes more strengthened, formidable, peaceful and progressive.
Still while addressing the gathering, Hon Ikenna Ukwa caught a glimpse of a physically challenged boy, Emmanuel Kalu from Asaga Ohafia and out of his compassionate heart, immediately empowered the boy with a grinding machine and also promised to train him in any vocational skill of his choice.
Also speaking, An APC Chieftain in the ward and former member of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Mba Ukaha in his welcome speech said Chief (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa needs no introduction again in Abia political sphere as the vibrant young man, with fresh ideas has carved a niche for himself by rendering selfless service to the society and working tirelessly in uniting and ensuring the continuous progress and development of the party in Arochukwu/Ohafia federal Constituency.
The host, Hon. Chidiebere Uwagwu in his remark commended Chief Ikenna for his grassroot oriented initiatives and generosity , especially to the needy, adding that when the time comes, the party, ward and Ohafia at large will reciprocate his kind gestures and unprecedented achievements by giving him maximum support for him to continue with his good works in the Federal Constituency.
He urged the party leaders, fans and supporters of Ikenna Ukwa to rally round and work in unity to deliver the party at the polls, as Ikenna Ukwa has throughout the years, demonstrated capacity, strength and efficiency, even when not holding any elected political position.
The highlight of the meeting was the formal reception of Hon. Chidi Ume, former PDP councillorship aspirant for Ohafor Ward, who decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC with his followers and the presentation of Empowerment materials like hair dryers and business support fund including wrappers to the women by Chief Ikenna Ukwa, under the auspices of his foundation, Ikenna & Jenn Ukwa Foundation, which he co-founded with his wife.
