WE WILL WORK TOGETHER FOR THE PROGRESS AND DEVELOPMENT OF OHAFIA, CHIEF SAMUEL UME TELLS IKENNA UKWA

A prominent businessman, Chief Samuel Ume yesterday hosted his brother, friend and the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa in his country home, Ugwuegbenzu, Amaekpu Ohafia. Chief Sam Dimgba and his friends who were around to welcome Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa took turn to eulogise the OMEZIMBA 1 OF AMAEKPU OHAFIA for his visions, ingenuity and people oriented projects, especially for installing solar powered street lights in the emerging Ugwuegbenzu estate in Amaekpu Ohafia, which they affirmed has enhanced security in the area.

They promised to support him, whenever he decides to vie for any political position.

“Your works are visible. We have seen all that you have been doing even when you aren’t holding any political position. You have proven to be a man with excess capacity and we are proud of what you have achieved within the shortest period of time. You are doing more than some of our elected political office holders and for you to achieve this much now, it means when you are elected into power, you will perform miracle. All of us in this new estate will work and support you”,they said.

Chief Ikenna Ukwa while reacting thanked his host and his brothers and friends for the warm hospitality and reception accorded to him. Ikenna Ukwa said his vision has been to ensure that Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs develops more with internal good road network, light, water and other basic amenities and infrastructures that will better the lives of the populace and alleviate their suffering.

“I am always ready and eager to do all I can to put Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs on the map of development; to mak it an enviable and digital federal constituency and with you, we can achieve it. My wife and I saw the need to help the needy and we decided to use a platform, IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION, which we co-founded and we have done empowerment, distributed academic materials, food items , agricultural products , free medical outreaches, sports, business support , among other humanitarian interventions to the needy”, he added.

Before the host and his guest entered into a close door meeting, they resolved to partner for the progress and development of Ohafia.
