“If APC Makes The Mistake To Present A Muslim Muslim Ticket For 2027 Presidential Election, They Should Forget It” – Odo Ijere
TIME TO FIGHT FOR THE CHRISTIAN STATE OF NIGERIA.
It’s difficult to keep mum at a time like this when very sensitive issues of international dimension suffice to put our country in a new socio geopolitical dynamics. At least, the islamisation project in Nigeria which started at independence and caused the Nigeria Civil war, tagged the Biafran war in 1967 has become the Trojan horse for Christian genocide of today in the same Nigeria by the year 2025.
This assertion is coming from non other than the President of the most powerful country in the world, Donald Trump with a warning to Nigeria leaders to take responsibility or they will face the consequences. No sooner than the Trump warning came than all the army, navy, airforce road blocks disguising as security formations around the southern and middle belt were all dismantled overnight. Then we started hearing from even our respected Christian clerics and the Sultan that there are no genocides. Shame indeed to these bloodthirsty men.
But let us start from where all this nonsense about Nigeria becoming an Islamic republic began. The British instigated a crisis in 1966 through a phantom coup which they mischievously tagged Igbo coup which led to unspeakable genocides against the Igbo tribe. At Aburi conference in Ghana to settle the matter, Gowon and Ojukwu agreed that a confederation will be a better form of government for Nigeria’s peaceful coexistence after the pogroms that slaughtered Igbos in mass numbers in the North. But some elites in Lagos under the control of the British reversed that agreement and told Gowon to levy war instead against the Igbo tribe to solve the problem by force. The British nudging and backing them pledged and took charge of weaponization programs for the success of the war and the rest is history.
Ojukwu as a student of history knew that the fulani tribe must one day fight to impose Sharia in the entire country and tried to get Gowon to reason at what was coming ahead. Ojukwu could not convince Gowon who went ahead with the British who’s only motivation was our natural/national resources. Now they took the natural resources and pitched us against each other. Every bush in our neighborhoods is now taken over by fulani militants being sponsored by the same foreign mercenaries that were used to divide us under USAID until Donald Trump came to expose them. Obama/Biden are evil if you know what they did to this country.
While ethnicity and tribe was used effectively to divide Christian leaders of the Middle Belt and their Southern counterparts, religion was used to cement the relationship of the northern elites which made the Christians among them not to belong. All the middle belt christian soldiers that surrounded Gowon equally didn’t see the religious dimension that put them against their faith in the south while they were busy defending their tribe in the North.
T.Y Danjuma, Joshua Dogonyaro, David Mark, Domkat Bali, and some of their civilian counterparts like Paul Unongo, Joseph Tarka, Godwin Daboh etal. Today, some of them still alive can see what Ojukwu saw 50 years ago. Ojukwu warned them that the Sharia project will knock at everyone’s doorsteps. That is what is playing out as Christian genocide today in Nigeria’s history.
What pains me the more is having Christian leaders like Bishop Kukah Hassan playing ostrich and being complicit. If Tinubu today invites Bishop Mathew Kukah to State function now, he will rush to go and belong. A government that refused to recognize his Christian faith. I was ashamed at Bishop Kukah accepting National Award from Tinubu and thought of how Dr. Akanu Ibiam would be weeping in his grave at this generation. Akanu Ibiam who returned his Knight of the British Empire Award to the Queen because of killings of same Christians. Bishop Kukah is accepting national award from Tinubu when christians are being slaughtered in Nigeria.
Pentecostal leaders like Pastor Adeboye and the one at the Later Rain not being able to speak truth to power. You only hear from them when its time to be Igbophobic. At least Bishop Oyedepo separated himself from them by speaking up when APC decided to rule this country with a Muslim Muslim ticket. This has been the formula the Muslim North wanted to use to Islamize this country. And these Christian leaders allowed it to take place. I’m flabbergasted to say the least.
It was the inability of Abiola to pick a Christian as Deputy that made him not to succeed. Tinubu was also advised to try and take a Christian as his VeePee but he was adamant probably because of the forces behind him bankrolling the Islamic Republic of Nigeria.
Nigeria is Christian majority and can in no way be islamized. Instead, the reverse will be the case.
Nigeria may at best be a secular republic while those that wish to practice Sharia may be free to secede from the country.
If APC makes the mistake to present a Muslim Muslim ticket for 2027, they should forget the election. Its better not to have another election under such aberration. With Buhari’s 8 years and added to Tinubu’s 4 years already, it’s time for a Christian president in Nigeria in 2027 to give the Christians a sense of belonging. Nigeria is not a Muslim country. Enough said.
