Amb.Dr. Osita Offor, “De Ultimate Commander,” and UAAP Join Gov. Otti, CAN in Mourning Passing of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai
Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor, affectionately known as “De Ultimate Commander” and Ikenga Gburugburu of the Ohafia Ancient Kingdom, has joined the executive governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, to express profound sorrow over the passing of Reverend Dr. Uma Ukpai. As the President of the United Abia Artistes and Patriots (UAAP), Ambassador Offor, along with the entire UAAP community, mourns the loss of a spiritual icon fondly referred to as “God’s General.”
Reverend Dr. Uma Ukpai, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80, was a beacon of hope and faith for millions in Nigeria and beyond. For over six decades, he devoted his life to evangelistic missions, inspirational teachings, and extensive charitable work that touched countless lives. He was widely recognized not only for his dynamic preaching and healing ministry but also for his compassion, humility, and unwavering commitment to uplifting the underprivileged.
In his condolence message, Ambassador Offor described Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai as a true servant of God, whose calm voice and acts of kindness provided comfort to many during difficult times. He emphasized that Dr. Ukpai’s legacy of faith, leadership, and selfless service will continue to inspire future generations of believers and leaders.
