UDUMEZE OHAFIA COMMENDS IKENNA UKWA’S DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES
…Assures Him of the Monarchs’ Blessings And Support
The Udumeze of Ohafia, His Royal Paramountcy, Ezie Ohamoha Elder Awa Orji Udonsi has commended the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Chief (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa for his remarkable developmental strides and tireless efforts in attracting meaningful and impactful projects in Ohafia, despite not holding any elective political position.
The Revered Monarch made the commendation on Saturday 4th October 2025 when Mr Richard Ukwa, elder brother to Hon Ikenna Ukwa led some members of the socio-political group, IKENNA MOBILISATION GROUP for a courtesy visit to his palace in Elu Ohafia.
Ezie Elder Orji Udonsi who warmly received his august visitors expressed satisfaction for the tremendous and visible works Ikenna Ukwa is doing for the people of Ohafia, which he noted speaks volumes about his character. He assured Ukwa of the Ohafia Monarch’s blessings and support in his future endeavours.
Ezie Ohamoha also noted that while Ikenna has attracted solar powered street lights in communities in Ohafia and Arochukwu, and equally distributed fertilizers, food items and academic materials to schools in Ohafia under the auspices of his foundation which he co-founded with his wife, he has no doubts that he will perform more creditably if given the necessary support to actualize his political ambition.
“Even though I don’t know the political elective position he is vying for, he has shown signs that he will perform wonders if given the opportunity. With what I have seen he is doing, I will always talk good about him and he has the support, prayers and blessings of the Ohafia Council of Monarchs”, he asserted.
Ezie Elder Orji Udonsi also used the medium to charge the members of the IKENNA MOBILISATION GROUP to stand firmly behind Ikenna Ukwa and ensure his success, emphasizing that he would do more for the people of Ohafia and beyond.
“I charge you all not to leave him on the way. I have seen it a lot when people support and sing praises for someone and when the person needs them most, the supporters will back out and follow another person. I encourage all of you to lead and guide him well, and he must succeed as long as I am still the Udumeze and still sitting on the stool”, he stated.
In his response on behalf of the group, Mr Richard Ukwa thanked the Royal father for his audience, words of wisdom and encouragement and warm hospitality he accorded to them. He said Ikenna Ukwa and his team will continue to familiarize with him to tap from his royal wealth of knowledge and wisdom, and will continue to acknowledge the roles the Ohafia Monarchs are playing to sustain peace and unity, the culture and traditions of the Ohafia community.
