IKENNA UKWA ATTRACTS THE CONSTRUCTION OF GIRLS HOSTEL IN FGC OHAFIA
The workaholic and development loving Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , has facilitated the construction of a girls’ hostel block in Federal Government College, Ohafia.
Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa while disclosing the cheering news during an interactive session with newsmen said he was touched by the plights of the students, hence, he decided to facilitate the project to address the challenges posed by the increasing number of students lacking hostel facilities, providing a comfortable, safe, and secure living environment that will enable the students to focus on their studies and enhance their learning experience.
Chief Ukwa also said he had earlier attracted solar powered street lights for the school which has been installed already around and inside the school environment, adding that the gestures are part of his selfless contributions to the growth of education in Abia State and to enhance security and as well, help the students to thrive academically.
The contractor, is expected to report to the school, for the official site handover to enable him commence work immediately.
