IUPG GENERAL MEETING AND REGISTRATION OF NEW APC MEMBERS IN WARDS IN OHAFIA
The Director General of Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group, IUPG, Mr Francis Igwe last weekend convened a meeting of the members of the pro-group of Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa and as well welcomed and officially registered news members in the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The general meeting and the registration of the new members in APC was conducted in Okamu, Ebem and Isiama wards in Ohafia, Abia State.
The Director General urged the members to remain steadfast and committed, adding that the vision bearer of IUPG, Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa is poised to make a difference and move the pro-group and the party to a formidable and greater heights. He, therefore, enjoined them to remain good Ambassadors of the group and the party, and help in strengthening it for the overall benefit of all the members and the society at large.
The newly registered members of the APC in the respective wards said the good works and performances of Hon Ikenna Ukwa even when he isn’t holding any elective position propelled them to join the APC, as they need a progressive mind like him to take over the mantle of leadership to deliver more dividends of democracy to the populace.
“We love Ikenna Ukwa. We have heard so many of his good deeds and projects across Abia North, particularly in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs. We are proud of his milestones and within a short period of time, he has carried out unprecedented and legacy projects for various communities and because of his humility and accessibility, we decided to be in his party, which is the APC”, they said.
The IUPG members and the newly registered members of the APC further reaffirmed their unalloyed support and loyalty to Ikenna Ukwa and prayed to God Almighty to grant him more strength, wisdom and success in all his ambitions.
